Notice is hereby given that the Synod of the Atlantic Provinces is called to meet beginning with worship on Monday, October 18th, 2010 at seven o’clock in the evening, at Grace Presbyterian Church, Saint John, NB. It is anticipated that the court will sit through Wednesday, October 20.

I would like to draw your attention to our Making the Most of Retirement event being offered in Calgary for the first time this fall. Facilitated by Mary Helen Garvin and the Rev. Dale Irving, this event is for those in ministry approaching retirement (in 10 yrs or less) or recently retired (within 5 yrs) and spouses or partners are also welcome. Our feedback has told us that the benefits of the event were even greater for those who attended as a couple.

 

The event is November 8th-10th at the FCJ Christian Life Centre. I’m attaching our brochure and more information is available on our website – www.caringforclergy.ca.

 

Please note: This event is offered in partnership with St. Stephen’s College at the University of Edmonton and they are handling registration. Deadline to register is October 11th, 2010.
